Storing Your Personal Data
In operating our website it may become necessary to transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Union for processing and storing. By providing your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We do our utmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to make sure that your data is treated stored securely.
Unfortunately, the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion, such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically. Sending such information is entirely at your own risk.
Personal data will be held for a period of up to 5 years once records are no longer required, after which time it will be suppressed and archived.
Information collected by Cookies
When someone visits our website, we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. Such information includes traffic data, location data and other communication data. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
When you sign up to our mailing list, we collect personal information. We use that information to tell you about news and events we think you might be interested in and to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry-standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us.
We may share data with other organisations, such as the Arts Council England or other funding partners – in order to share the impact of our work, and what funding has been used for. This information will always be anonymised and we will not share contact details or sensitive data.
