Much activity afoot at the shop front theatre…


Theatre Absolute’s exciting collaboration with Naomi Said continues, as a short excerpt of The Wedge will be part of the Sprint Festival at Camden People’s Theatre, London, on March 19th.

Written and performed by Naomi and directed by Chris O’Connell, late July sees The Wedge receiving a full on week of development at the shop front theatre, as it moves towards premiere in late Autumn 2012.

As a part of Coventry Mysteries Week 2012, Chris O’Connell will write a new piece for the shop front theatre space. It is called ARCADE, and will run 9th to 16th June. Watch the website and Facebook page for more details, and how to book.


April 11th sees the visit of WASTED, by Kate Tempest. Produced by Paines Plough, this thrilling piece will stop off at the shop front as a part of its national tour.

A Paines Plough, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Roundhouse production in association with the National Student Drama Festival and Latitude Festival.
